Your privacy
Updated October 24, 2026
Gather & Grow is a Hopperlace project that arranges small social and learning gatherings. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, contact yuyu@hopperlace.ai. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information.
Information used to arrange your gathering
When you submit a request, we collect your name, email, chosen area, date, topics, group preferences, café budget and any language or access needs you provide. We use these to form a suitable group, arrange the experience, communicate with you and manage cancellations or refunds. Please provide only what is needed; do not include medical records or other sensitive documents.
Whop handles checkout and payment details under its privacy policy. We retain payment identifiers, amounts and payment/refund status, not your full card details. Your private status link grants access to your request; keep it private.
Service providers and human reviews
Cloudflare hosts our application, database and background jobs; Vercel forwards our branded website to it. These services process technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details. Resend delivers transactional email and receives venue replies. We use Exa to research public venue information and Anthropic to interpret venue correspondence and draft responses. Authorized operators can review operational records and exceptions.
We use Terac to commission human feedback and lesson contributions. Research participants’ answers are stored with their Terac submission/task identifiers and the version reviewed. We do not send our guest email list to Terac for these reviews. A venue receives booking details needed to accommodate the group; we do not automatically share guests’ contact information with one another.
Optional advertising measurement
On our public landing and booking pages, we load Whop’s advertising pixel only after you choose “Allow advertising.” It measures page visits and connects advertising activity with requests and Whop purchases. Whop may receive browser/device and network information, page and campaign information, and browser identifiers or cookies. If you successfully submit a request while opted in, we send its event identifier and your email to Whop for attribution. Whop may use advertising partners, including Meta, to measure and improve ads.
We do not send your topic preferences, access needs, private status-link tokens or Terac answers as advertising-event fields. We do not load the pixel on private status, operator or research pages. Whop’s own checkout has its own data practices and privacy choices.
You can reject optional advertising without losing access to booking. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to change your choice. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping optional advertising tracking off. Withdrawal stops future pixel loading here; it does not retract data previously sent. Contact us or Whop about that data.
Browser storage and operational records
We store your advertising choice in this browser for up to 90 days. The phone activity may save your progress locally. If advertising is allowed, Whop may add its own identifiers. Blocking browser storage leaves our optional advertising tracking off.
We retain booking, payment, correspondence and research records while needed to deliver the service, handle refunds and disputes, maintain security, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Some payment records may need to remain after a deletion request. We assess deletion requests individually; there is no automatic deletion schedule currently enabled.
Your choices
Contact us to ask about your information, correct it, request deletion or raise a concern. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including restricting or objecting to certain processing and contacting your privacy regulator. Our providers may process information outside your country. Our gatherings are for adults aged 18 and over.
Submitting a gathering request is not consent to promotional email. Transactional messages about your request, payment or gathering are part of providing the service.
